January 6-11, 2020 Eagle Eye

Welcome Back Everyone!  We trust the holiday break was relaxing and refreshing.  We launch back into a full schedule this week.  Check out the attached Eagle Eye for this week's events, chapels and sporting competition.  Please note: there is no Friday Feast this Friday, but be on the lookout for Friday Feast order forms for upcoming dates.

If you missed picking up your Spirit Wear order on Friday, 12/20, we will be sending it home with your student today.

A huge thank you to all who gave through the Teacher's Wish Lists and for all the love and appreciation shown to DCS staff!  We are blessed with amazing families!!

On Friday, January 17th we hit the halfway mark for the year and end of the 1st Semester! Please make sure you and/or your student(s) are checking in with their teachers and turning in all late/missing/make-up work.  Additionally, all secondary students (7th - 12th) will need to turn in 10 hours of documented ministry/service hours before the 17th.  This will be included in their Bible grade for the semester. Service Forms are attached and can be found in the school office.

Looking for ministry/service opportunities for 2nd semester?  Consider volunteering at the Night to Shine event on Friday, February 7th.  They would love to have any DCS high school students or DCS parents!  Students ages 14-15 must have a parent volunteering as well.  All individuals 16 and over can volunteer on their own.  For more information go to:  https://www.estacadafbc.org/page/180021746/180119329/Night-To-Shine

Looking ahead at the weather forecast, we might see some inclement weather coming our way.  If you have not already done so, you will want to take a moment to either set up or renew your subscription to FlashAlert.net to receive up-to-the-minute weather notifications.  If there are any school closures or delays, flash alert will send you a text and/or email notification as soon as they have new updates.
