Kate Nelson finished top 5 in all 3 throwing events...Shot Put, Discus and Javelin.  Ava Mai, Lucy McAllister and Sienna Livengood all finished in the top 5 for long jump and Leilani Hanna, Lucy McAllister, Ava Mai and Sienna Livengood took first in the 4 x 400 relay!  Way to go Junior High Eagles!!

High School Track is still going strong and our DCS athletes are working hard and doing great. Shout out to Senior Micah Colburn for a PR and breaking the DCS record this last week in Pole Vault with a vault of 14' 6"!

This Thursday, May 6th, is the National Day of Prayer.  Student Council invites you to join us for Prayer at the Flagpole at 9:00 AM.  All ages are welcome.  We request that students Pre-K through 8th grade be accompanied by an adult.

Do you love popcorn, coffee and/or cookies?  The 10th grade class would like to invite you to join them in supporting their fundraising efforts for the upcoming Washington DC Living Classroom trip.  Our classes taking this trip usually have 2 years to fundraise. Due to COVID cancellations and changes over the last year, the 10th graders will now be taking part in this trip in place of our graduating 12th graders, but will only have 2 months to fundraise!  Please take a moment to look over the product list and select your favorites.  Online ordering is easy!!  Go to https://www.ripcitypopcorn.com/damascus/  All students/families who submit orders may also be eligible to earn some cool prizes (see the Prize List/Details attachment), including Amazon Gift Cards and Wireless Ear Buds! Don't delay!  The deadline to turn orders in is Monday, May 10th.  All orders will be delivered to the school for pickup on Wednesday, May 19th. Please contact Heidi Hale in the school office with any questions.
