Jesus told the story of the “Ten Minas” in Luke 19 in response to the common thinking that “the kingdom of God was to appear immediately” (Luke 19:11). In fact, the plan for the establishment of the kingdom involved more time and more steps than was anticipated by most. Facilities development is similar in nature on a far more mundane level, but the need for full submission to God’s plan, and for patience in the process, is still necessary. Pray for these as we pursue the steps involved in building.
