FPNO, an outreach of Embrace, is inviting trained volunteers to love on and care for kids in foster care in a fun & nurturing environment (Abundant Life Church) while providing a monthly (3rd Saturday of every month, October through May) 4-hour break for foster parents.
If you are 14 years old or older and would like to support the retention of foster families, build relationships with children and families in the foster care system, and make a meaningful difference in our community, you can contact Nadia Boria (nadiaboria[at]gmail.com).
Volunteers are needed in a number of areas: working with children, clean up/set up/behind the scenes, planning activities/coordinating special guests, arts & crafts, welcome/registration/hospitality, active games/relays/sports, and kitchen.
