We trust you are enjoying the final weeks of summer. We are fast approaching the start of the 2023-2024 school year! Here on campus, our fall sports have gotten underway, staff have been working hard to get prepped and ready for the first day of school and our high school living classroom trips are getting ready to head out this next week.
Mark your calendars! Tuesday, September 5th is our Back-to-School Family Night. This is a night for our DCS community (returning and new) to come together as a kick off to the new school year. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Parent Student Handbook – Please take the time to review our Updated Parent-Student Handbook, which now includes our Athletic Handbook. In addition to formatting and editing changes, additions and clarity were added to our grading & homework policy pg. 3-5, plagiarism and AI pg. 6, the return of required service hours pg. 19, and dress code updates pg. 21-22.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Schedule – View the update to our drop-off and pick-up schedule to ensure safety and maintain requirements from the county in anticipation of our campus expansion.
Magnus Health – Every student is required to have a completed magnus health portfolio. Incomplete student portfolios will prohibit your child from being able to be involved in DCS activity, including by not limited to, attending class, living classroom trips, and sports. Additionally, if your student requires medication during the school day, including emergency medicines like epi-pens, please bring the medications to Jessi Veras in the school office any day between now and the first day of school.
Classes/Schedules – Classroom and schedule information will be made available after 4:00 PM on Friday, September 1st in the family portal.
