This Friday evening, October 20th, come enjoy the fall fun of our Student Council sponsored annual Pumpkin Smash event from 5:30 to 7:00 PM! There will be pumpkin painting, pumpkin smashing, face painting, homemade caramel apples and more! It’s also a great time to pop into the gym to support our elementary and junior high Lady Eagles volleyball teams as they battle against Country Christian starting at 4:00 PM.

 

Your student’s digital image school picture should now be available. Check your email to find the link to view them. Not happy with the picture or you missed picture day? Don’t worry, Picture Retakes will be next week, Thursday, October 26th

 

Only 2 weeks until the annual DCC/DCS Harvest Festival on Tuesday, October 31st, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Flyers went home last week with event information and volunteer opportunities. You can also sign up to volunteer in the upstairs foyer. Don’t forget about candy, toy, or door prize donations!  Drop your donations by the church office or in the upstairs foyer. DCC Family Night is coming Sunday, October 22nd from 4-6 pm! Kinder through sixth grade will learn what it’s like to serve in the military and travel around the world. Childcare is available for newborns through preschool. Parents will hear from a panel of educators about current issues in the schools and receive some practical ideas/advice. Following, we will gather in the gym for a family potluck. Sign up here to bring a dish for the potluck or help with setup.
