January 15-19, 2024 - Eagle Eye News

Wow, what a wild weekend of weather we’ve had!  We pray you all have been safe and warm as the storm blew through. It will no doubt take some time to thaw out and get back to normal as we have reports of the possibility of more inclement weather conditions as we get into the week. Please stay tuned into delay/closure information through FlashAlert, social media posts, the live feed on our website, email notifications, and local news stations.

Pending any significant delays due to the weather, this week brings the end of 2nd quarter for elementary and 1st semester for secondary and marks the halfway point of the school year! Friday is scheduled to be a half day. Please be aware of the early release times listed in the Eagle Eye. Speaking of…here is this week’s edition of the Eagle Eye for all the latest and greatest.

Another important deadline this week is Re-Enrollment! You have until this Friday, January 19 to secure your student’s spot for the 2024-2025 school year. We have conducted tours for over 50 families already and are anticipating another high demand year for open spots. If you are unsure of your plans for this next school year and decide to re-enroll to save your student’s spot for the time being, please be aware of the financial policy and the financial commitment you are making with the completion of re-enrollment. If you have questions or are experiencing any issues with re-enrollment, please contact Heidi Hale in the school office.

If you have new students you would like to enroll, you can do that now! From your FACTS Family Portal under the Apply/Enroll tab on the left-hand side of the screen, select Application to begin. While we anticipate open spots in most of our grades for the 24/25 school year, we also anticipate those spots filling quickly. Last year our Pre-K class alone was filled with a wait list on the day applications opened. So, don’t delay in submitting an application if you want to secure a spot!

This is your last chance to get signed up for the free Speech & Language Screenings happening on Tuesday, January 16th! Check out the flier for details and scan the QR code to sign up by January 15th.
