March 11-15, 2024 - Eagle Eye News

Only 1 more week in the 3rd quarter and just 12 more weeks until summer break! Is it too soon to start the countdown...Nah! As the weeks click down, the busyness will ramp up.   Stay up to date with the weekly edition of the Eagle Eye.

This past Tuesday, DCS Concert Choir sang at the Oregon small school choir invitational.  They did an amazing job, placing 5th and received state qualifying scores.  However, they were slightly under the time requirement, which kept them from officially qualifying for state. They will perform their set again next week at another competition on 3/19 to try to reach the time needed as well as get qualifying scores in order to advance to state. Way to Go Eagles!

Secondary students…raid your pantries and cupboards for any extra non-perishable food you may have. Missions Club is running a food drive and collecting non-perishable food now through Thursday, March 14th! Bring items to your homeroom class and Missions Club students will gather all donated items to support the local food bank.

Yearbook needs your photos! If you have photos of school-related events such as field trips, class parties, sporting events, theater or choir performances, etc - we'd love to include those in the yearbook! Photos can be submitted to jenn.lott@damascuscc.org. We appreciated a great response last year and were thrilled with how many students and events we were able to include in the yearbook! We look forward to including the many memories that are submitted this year! - Yearbook Staff
