Eagle Eye News - February 2-7, 2026

Despite a challenging season of illnesses, we have successfully wrapped up the first half of the school year and are excited to jump right into Spirit Week this next week! Here’s a look at the Eagle Eye for the week’s details. Report cards will also be available by the end of next week.

Thank you to all families who completed re-enrollment by the deadline. Your child’s seat is now secured for the 2026-2027 school year. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you and remain committed to supporting your child’s growth, learning and success in the year ahead.

Food Drive February 2-6 – Missions Club invites all students and families to participate in our Food Drive! Students may bring canned or boxed food items to their homeroom teacher. Check out the flier for full details.

Secondary students who wish to request a schedule change for the second semester may submit an Add/Drop Form.  Forms are available now and must be turned in by Friday, February 6th. Please note that elective changes are limited at this point in the school year.

 

Valentine’s Candy Gram Fundraiser – Support our Campus Ministry Team in their fundraising efforts for Destiny Rescue by purchasing a Valentine’s Candy Gram. For $8, students will receive a sweet treat with a personalized message, delivered on Friday, February 13th. Gluten and dairy-free options are available. Destiny Rescue works around the world to rescue children from human trafficking and share the hope and love of Jesus with them. Each candy gram helps change a life! Click this link to order.

Track Coaches Needed! DCS Track and Field is seeking Assistant T&F Coaches for the upcoming season. If you or someone you know may be interested, please email dcs@damascuscc.org for more details and/or complete an application.

The Damascus Christian Education Foundation is now accepting applications for the Keaton Coffey Memorial Scholarship.

Established in 2013, this scholarship honors DCS graduate Corporal Keaton Coffey, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country in Afghanistan. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a heart for service and sacrifice and who are interested in service-oriented paths such as first response, military service, missions, or nonprofit work.

Students in grades 7–11 may apply. Applications are due by April 6Click here for the application and instructions.
