Another full week is ahead at DCS, including our Elementary Spring Concerts—we hope you can join us! Be sure to check out this week’s Eagle Eye and read on for important announcements and updates so you don’t miss any of the excitement.
This week is also Teacher Appreciation Week! It’s not too late to show gratitude and encouragement to the incredible DCS teachers and staff who pour so much into your children each day. Here are three ways to participate:
Snacks & Treats: Help supply snacks, treats, and beverages throughout the week by signing up to bring a specific item. Drop items off at the school office on Monday.
Sunshine Fund Donations: Contribute to the Sunshine Fund to help cover remaining snacks and, if possible, provide a catered lunch for our teachers and staff.
Staff Favorites: Check out the Staff Favorites List to bless a favorite teacher with something they love.

With warmer, sunnier weather here, summer clothing is making its reappearance on campus. Please help ensure students remain within dress code, including appropriate shorts length and top styles. A refresher is available on our website or here.
Have you heard of senioritis? Our seniors are feeling it—with just a couple of weeks left at DCS! Be sure to read this week’s Senior Spotlight to hear from three more of our amazing soon-to-be graduates.

DCS Girls Volleyball Camp: For all current 3rd–6th grade girls. Join us next week Monday, May 11 – Thursday, May 14 | 3:30–5:30 PM. Led by our DCS Varsity Volleyball coaches and players—Register Now to secure a spot!
DCS Boys Basketball Camp: For boys currently in 3rd–5th grade. Monday, May 18 – Thursday, May 21 | 3:30–5:30 PM. Registration details coming soon—save the date!
Lastly, the Student Council team is working on an Epic Junior High Event at the North Clackamas Aquatic Park on Friday, May 15th from 4:00-6:00 PM. More details and registration information coming this week!
