This past week was filled with meaningful moments across our campus! From Senior TED Talks—which beautifully showcased our Portrait of a Graduate in action—to an exciting finish for our Varsity Boys Volleyball team, who earned a 6th place state ranking (1A–4A) and the highest state ranking among all 1A teams, there has been much to celebrate. Our DCS Concert Choir blessed us with an incredible performance, and our seniors enjoyed a memorable Senior Sunset event with their families. Now, we head into the final three days for our graduating seniors and another full week as we look toward the end of the school year—just 13 school days to go! Be sure to check out this week’s Eagle Eye for important announcements and upcoming opportunities.
Library Reminder - Friendly heads-up, families! As backpacks get lighter, the search for missing library books begins. Before your home turns into “Extreme Treasure Hunt: Library Edition,” please take a moment to check under beds, behind couch cushions, and through those mysterious piles of laundry. All library books are due this Friday, May 22.
Senior Spotlight - This is our final Senior Spotlight edition—take a moment to read about the special memories and future plans of our final four seniors!
Elementary Boys Basketball Camp - Camp begins tomorrow for boys currently in 3rd–5th grade! Join us Monday–Thursday, May 18–21 from 3:30–5:30 PM, led by our Varsity coaches and players. This is the Last Chance to Sign Up—don’t miss out!
Elementary Field Day Volunteers Needed - Elementary parents, we would love your help! We’re looking for volunteers to help run activity stations at Field Day. Each station will be supported by two parents and 6th grade helpers. A brief informational meeting will be held after school on Monday, June 1. Sessions will run 8:20–9:45 and 9:50–11:15 (bounce house volunteers stay an extra 15 minutes). If you are able to volunteer, Please Sign Up for Available Slots. Thank you for helping make this a fun and memorable day for our students!
