We pray you all had a restful and wonderful Thanksgiving break! We have three jam-packed weeks ahead of us before we hit Christmas break. Here’s the weekly Eagle Eye for a glance at this week’s schedule and a peek at the coming weeks.
Our DCS Elementary Basketball teams have been tearing it up on the courts for the last several weeks. With only a few weeks left of their season, don’t miss out on the opportunity to catch a few games. Our High School Basketball teams have been hitting the gym and working on getting game ready. Those game schedules will be getting underway in the next 2 weeks.
The Scholastic book fair is almost here! The fair will start this Wednesday morning, November 30th and will run through Friday, December 2nd from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM each day. In addition to that, on Wednesday there will be a Book Fair Pajama Party from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. Come for a special time of shopping, cookies, and a read-aloud story! Story time will begin at 6:00 PM.
The Building on Faith event is this Friday, December 2nd from 6:30-8:00 PM in the DCS gym. This will be a special time to hear God’s vision for the future of Damascus Community Church and Christian School. See the phased master plan and details for phase 1, which is proposed to begin in 2023! You won’t want to miss this event! If you haven't already, please RSVP HERE. (Childcare will be provided for ages newborn-12.)
