Congratulations to Andrew Briggs and all the Kansas City Chiefs fans and condolences to all the Philadelphia Eagles fans after today’s Super Bowl. In DCS sports news, our varsity teams have finished regular season games. The varsity boys played their last game Friday night and are completing the season with lots of growth and building on a good foundation for next year. The varsity girls played their last regular season game Saturday night against the #1 ranked 2A Salem Academy, and walked away with the win. They will move on to the post season with the District Tournament this Friday, Sub-State games the following week, and the State Tournament the week after that. Check out this edition of the Eagle Eye for this week’s details.
Attention Parents: we seem to have almost exhausted our supply of tissues and teachers have reported that many students did not bring the amount listed on the supply list at the beginning of the school year. If you did not send your student with the required amount in September, please do so now. 7th - 12th grade students=3 large boxes each and Pre-K – 6th grade students=1 large box each. Quote of the week from Secondary Principal, Dean Davis, “This is…snot a good problem.”
